With today’s fleeting focus and the constant stream of captivating media, are newsletters still meaningful?

The start of something new is always scary and exciting in equal measure.

I’m excited to share my newsletter journey with you.

I’ve started multiple newsletters over the years, whether it was on LinkendIn with their built in newsletter function or using Substack.

I’ve chosen beehiiv to launch my current newsletter, I go over why beehiiv below.

Tyler Denk the founder of beehiiv was previously at morning brew one of the worlds most well known newsletters, he has a long history of understanding the newsletter space and being at the forefront of newsletter innovation.

“Part of the creator-friendliness is the ability to customize the aesthetic of site and newsletter however you’d like (exemplified in PH gallery images).

Another aspect of creator-friendliness is the business model not penalizing creators at scale, but rather, charging low predictable prices to allow users to scale their business.

This is counter to other platforms taking a % of subscription revenue and detracting an increasing amount of revenue as publications scale.”
